New Zealand is an incredibly versatile filming location. Our crews have built whole new screen worlds for international television productions and mini-series. These are as diverse as:

Another reason to shoot in New Zealand is that we offer very significant cost savings for international productions. Television commercials, in particular, can achieve the same production value for as little as half the cost of production in Europe or North America. Time-zone advantages and excellent telecommunications networks also put New Zealand at an advantage. Our time-zone is 12 hours ahead of GMT ( Britain and western Europe) and 18 hours ahead of United States Pacific Time.

Broadband links to production centres enable one hour of filming to be sent across the world in six minutes for overnight editing. Local post-production expertise is commonly used for offline editing in New Zealand, while hi-definition dailies are often sent offshore to editors in North America and Europe.
